Novi Sad nema more, ali u mojoj mašti ja ga mogu stvoriti. Ploviti njegovim uskovitlanim talasima, prkositi tvrdoglavim vetrovima, trazeći uvek nove pučine…

The smell of the sea is a long time on my skin and its contours steadily ringing in my memory. Novi Sad has no sea, but in my imagination I can created one. Navigate its swirling waves, defy the stubborn winds, always seeking for new open sea …

I must admit that I was always attracted by Brutalist architecture. That, what I call the communist” system of construction, typical for golden age of the rise of the working class, the witness of the decades that have disappeared a long time ago, from the stage. When I close my eyes, I create a clear picture of how people lived then, unencumbered by the burden of accelerated life. The little man, a representative of the proletariat, was occupied with trivial obligations. By living in buildings made of bullet-proof material, he was convinced that his existence as solid as reinforced concrete.

The charming town of Cefalu, in the north of Sicily, is recognizable by the vast rockhill that rises above it, as well as early Christian church that seems to be hovering over the city. Many beaches, with water of the Tyrrhenian Sea, warm as the spa, are ideal for those who like to be basking in the sun and swim until they fainted. Night is the best time for love birds, because many small diner, open their doors and offer a variety of specialties and atmosphere to remember. Near Palermo is Mondello, seaside destination of the aristocracy in the 19th century. Every house is a masterpiece for itself and testament to the power of the bourgeoisie. They knew why to choose Mondello, because its white sands and mild, almost ideal climate are perfect to spend the summer.

Make the most of a beautiful day along the Danube River, while summer is still here, is a holiday for the body and soul. My dearest bunny Miki is with me, so he can enjoy also the little magic of nature. The feminine skirt, whose blossoms glistening on sunlight and striped red retro corset, allow me feel like Alice in Wonderland, which started her picnic with a March Hare (the bunny). Here is also a string bag, in which is hidden a variety of trinkets.

Njeni mirisi i ukusi razoružavaju, a krajolik ostaje neizbrisivo stvaran u našem pamćenju.

Sicily, Mediterranean beauty with glowing temperament, it’s a lot closer to our sold, than we might expect. Indeed there man can feels like at home, and yet somehow everything is different. Its aromas and flavors disarm, and the landscape remains indelibly real in our memory. Three cultures have left their mark on this charming island (Italian, Greek, Moorish). Their influence is noticeable both in architecture and art, as well as customs and gastronomy. Today I want to introduce you Palermo in the Tyrrhenian Sea, where Italian and Arabic influences are the most dominant. From magical Arab-Norman cathedral, across the magnificent Theater Massimo and Politeama, vivacious narrow streets, Ballaro market, the Civic Museum of Modern Art and scary Catacombe Cappucini in Palermo, you can enjoy like never before in you life!

——————————————-Hajdučica Dress – ” Requiem For A Dream”—————————

U njoj tražimo skrovište, sigurnost i mir.

The fate of the man has strange ways. His life and existence dependent on external factors, always remains an enigma. Trying to simplify and minimize current present, creating a closed prism, which we don’t want to expose anyone but ourselves – we seek a hideout, security and peace.

Life has never looked better. While the retro vibe creeps up slowly and gives the whole atmosphere, the feeling of returning to a better yesterday, I feel quite leisurely in my skin. Stripes of Hajdučica dresses, blend with the environment, finding its expression in reduce fit and vintage look.

Stradun or main street, as it was called by the Venetians, its present appearance obtained after the great earthquake of 1667. Because of stone blocks polished to perfection, he is known as street salon.

Small Onofrio fountain, designed by the Neapolitan builder Onofrio della Cava, by whom it was named. It was used only by Christians, and in addition to this there is a large fountain too. The fountain, which is set at Stradun 1438, in the Middle Ages was used to supply water to the market square.

Perast, Crnogorski grad u kamenu, nestvarne lepote i netaknute arhitekture.

Perast, Montenegro city of stone, surreal beauty and pristine architecture. Romantic look was given to it in the 17th and 18th century, and its reflected in the numerous baroque buildings. It was famous for maritime school, which had a reputation throughout Europe, when city enjoyed its largest boom, that we are witnessing today.

(Crna Gora)

Bay of Kotor is hiding numerous beauty, and one of its gems is certainly the town of Kotor. The Venetian influence left a mark on the architecture of the city, and the bohemian charm and Mediterranean fragrances, included it as place of great cultural – historical tradition. Kotor exudes with melancholy, and I like that its not fancy so much, but posses existing traces of the time that works for him. (Montenegro)

The symbol of Kotor, Cathedral of Saint Tryphon from the 12th century, in the Romanesque style, is one of the oldest in this part of the Adriatic. It is a witness of turbulent historical development of the city, the impact that alternated through the ages.

Unique in the world, since no one style of architecture is like it, Bridge in Mostar on the Neretva River, is truly breathtaking. It was built by a certain Hajrudin, from 1557-66, but unfortunately the old bridge is no more there, and it was reconstructed in the new one. Like an arrow, rearing skyward, its strength and beauty, lasting for centuries. Semi-circular, projecting in the water, it represents the life itself. If you’re brave enough, on the bridge is maintaining the jumping competitions, so who like it should try it!

Hercegovinian Gracanica, a true copy of the monastery of Gracanica in Kosovo. It was built in 2000, on the hill Crkvine above Trebinje, with a desire that the remains of the famous poet Jovan Ducic, would be buried in the crypt of the edifice.

Old nest of Trebinje, was created in the 17th century, during the Turks. It’s Mediterranean and oriental architecture, pleasant atmosphere and great food, knows how to attract visitors.

Tvrdos Monastery is located 4 km from Trebinje, and dates from the 16th century, although the original church dates back to the 4th century and can be seen in the foundation of this Orthodox sanctity. It was founded by St. Emperor Constantine and his mother Jelena. The monastery also owns a winery Tvrdos, and my recommendation is Zilavka wine.

Višegradski most, odnosno Most Mehmed Paše Sokolovića, gradjen je od 1571 do  1577, visoko nad hirovitom Drinom. Kroz četiri veka, kroz koliko ga je Ivo Andrić opisao, i sami smo svedoci njegove veličanstvenosti, jer on uprkost svemu postoji, a ljudska sudbina je tako mala i prolazna, spram jedne gradjevine sazdane od kamenena.

“Bridge on the Drina”, so called by our Nobel Laureate writer Ivo Andric. Visegrad bridge – Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic Bridge, was built from 1571 to 1577, high above the whimsical river Drina. Through four centuries, trough how much of them Ivo Andric described it, we are witnesses of it’s majesty, because despite of all, it exists, and human destiny is so small and transient, against one building  caves from the stone.
